Judy Scharf’s post tells what a podcast is and how to use it. A podcast allows information to be shared across the world via the internet. The Education Podcast Network is trying to bring together helpful information for teachers, all in one place. In addition, it is a place for people to share their knowledge and learning’s with other teachers. The benefits of broadcasting in the classroom, tells of the many benefits of broadcasting in the classroom. Some of the benefits are, the parents can see what their children are doing in the classroom, it promotes creativity and innovation, it is an effective way of interacting with students outside of the classroom, etc. All of the posts are very helpful to me as a future educator. They tell me how to incorporate technology inside the classroom, and the benefits of it.
Hey Kiara!I think podcasting in the classroom is so cool. The kids seem to love doing it too! I also like the fact that the parents can see what their children are doing on a day to day basis. Also that the kids can access their notes or homework if they can't make it to school.

ReplyDeleteI think you are right when you talk about how the parents can see how their child is progressing in class by looking at the podcast they produce. I think this is a great way for the parent to get involved in their child's school work by sitting down with the child and watching his/her accomplishments together. What happened to the other two podcast summaries?
